The Borough of Dumont would like to thank you for your interest and we’re very hopeful
that you will take advantage of this very important notification and communication
tool that we are providing for the safety of you and your family. It is strongly
encouraged that you register for an account with the Borough.
The system that we have in place is a system that will notify you and your family
via email (with the ability to send important files), cell phone and SMS, web posts
as well as a broadcasted voice message to your home phone. By registering for an
account, you will automatically be set to receive all alerts that the Borough deems
are emergent and threaten the health, welfare and safety of our citizens. In addition,
you can also opt-in and select other alerts that the Borough believes may be important,
however, you have the right to select and deselect these types of alerts at your
discretion when you log into your account and modify your alert settings.
In addition, if you register for an account, you will also be able to take advantage
of some other important services that we are providing for you via the web. To name
a few you can, automatically generate a municipal service request, send a message
to our staff directly as well as recieve optional notification of important departmental
information and event postings.
It should be understood that the information that you provide is only to be used
by the Borough in the manner that you have asked us to use it for. We will NEVER, disclose
or sell your information to a third-party or misuse the information you provided
to us for any other purpose then what you have directed us to use it for. If you
