Window Painting Contest
At the December 21, 2010 Mayor and Council Meeting, Police Chief Brian Venezio, Police Commissioner Carl Manna and Mayor Matthew McHale presented CPR Certificates to Officers Joyce and Lisanti. On September 5, 2010, Officers Lisanti and Joyce were dispatched to the home of a resident who had stopped breathing and was unresponsive. The officers started CPR and the resident became responsive; the officers continued assistance until the Dumont Ambulance arrived. It is due to the officers' action that the resident is alive.

At the November 23, 2010 Mayor and Council Meeting, Mayor Matthew McHale presented a proclamation to the 12U Fall Baseball Tournament Champions.
This team won two tournament championships; the first, the 2010 Bergenfield Fall Baseball Tournament, defeating River Edge 7-3, Bergenfield 4-2 and Bergenfield in the final 2-1; and the second, the 2010 District 4 Fall Baseball Playoffs, defeating Englewood 5-4, Palisades Park/Leonia 9-1 and River Edge in the finals 3-1. Accompanying the teams members are Manager John Monteverde and coaches John Glennon, Bobby Chin and Jose Garcia.
