Due to Inclement Weather – There will be no garbage pickup, Tuesday, February 13th.  Regular garbage pick-up will resume accordingly on your next garbage day on Friday, February 16th.

If there's a fire hydrant near your house, please do your part to keep it accessible.  Remove any snow and ice around the hydrant for firefighters to work (about 3 feet).  Clear a path from hydrant to street.

 

 

 

Public Notice: The Governing Body of the Borough of Dumont will hold their February 13, 2024 meeting in the 3rd Floor Council Chambers at the Dumont Municipal Complex located at 50 Washington Avenue. Closed Session will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the public portion of the meeting at 7:00 p.m.

Formal action shall be taken.

BRANCH AND GRASS PICK-UP BEGINS THE WEEK OF MARCH 12TH

Leaves and grass clippings from your lawn must be put into a 32 gallon pail or brown recyclable bags only (no plastic bags).

Branches should be tied up and bundled to no longer than 4 feet and put out with your grass recyclables.  Both to be put out the night before your scheduled pickup to avoid being missed.
