As a 20 year resident of Dumont, Ellen Zamechansky has devoted the past decade and a half to making Dumont a better place to live and raise a family.
Ellen is a past president of Grant School PTA, and as well as the former Corresponding Secretary and key communicator. She has also volunteered her time to Project Pride and Project Graduation. Ellen is currently serving her second term on the Dumont Borough Council and is the first woman elected in over a decade.
A graduate of Buffalo State College, Ellen holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications. She and her husband of 21 years, Ronny, have three children.
