The Mayor and Council are pleased to announce a new initiative to revitalize our downtown, the Economic Development Committee. The committee will help determine goals and priorities to improve our downtown area and to promote economic activity to benefit our community. The downtown area is under-performing in several ways and needs improvement to realize its full potential. With careful planning, we can revitalize the downtown area as a vibrant community center.
Before we suggest any plans, we need your input and welcome your thoughts on how we can best improve our downtown area to serve you better. Your opinion counts, and we would love to hear from you, so please help us by taking a few minutes to fill out the following survey https://tinyurl.com/DumontEDCSurvey or please find the survey attached to the front of the 2020 calendar.
