PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PURPOSE: Borough of Dumont is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at:
Veterans Memorial Park located at Pershing Street at Davies Avenue,
Charlie O’Connor Park located at Lafayette Avenue and New Milford Avenue,
Berkley Park located at Berkley Place and Barbara Road, and
Bedford Field located at Bedford Road and Barbara Road
PROJECT SCOPE: Borough of Dumont proposes improvements at parks listed for Pathways for accessibility, accessible and sensory equipment, and landscaping improvements. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: https://dumontnj.gov
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, at 7PM. The meeting will be held in person at 50 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07028, as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
